Each SaunaRay unit is hand built in a toxin free environment at our factory in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada.

Our space is free of any toxic material so our units will not be exposed to any substances that may linger in the wood and cause reactions in chemically sensitive people. SaunaRay has built its reputation on building toxin free units where cheaper alternatives have concentrated in formaldehyde glued plywood and chemical fire retardants.

SaunaRay uses only natural and solid Ontario Basswood. We machine mill each piece to perfection and assemble your sauna the old fashioned way, one piece at a time. Measured to exacting standards with strict management of quality control. Each unit is a work of high function and fine beauty.

Each board is hand finished in Canadian Beeswax. The beeswax is softened with citric tannin from fruits to ensure no chemical solvents or noxious turpentines are employed in the industrial application of this natural product.
